Mentors

Debra Dimas

Mrs. Dimas has worked with the team for six years. She has taught both conceptual and advanced placement level physics courses, and she has experience as a teacher coach for Industry Initiative for Science and Mathematic Education. She has been our team’s head admin mentor. She has provided students with a workspace and supplies, and she has also registered our team to events and competitions.

Tom Hashimoto

Tom has worked with the team for five years. He has experience in Electrical Engineering. He has helped students as an electrical mentor, and he has also provided transportation for our students, robots, and supplies.

Richard Chycoski

Richard has worked with the team for one year. He has experience in IT Architecture, Systems Administration, Software Engineering, Systems Programming, Desktop Systems Consulting, IT Management, Network Architecture, Electronic Technology, and Computing Services. He has helped students with programming, electronics, and mechanics.

Mark Berkeland

Mark has worked with the team for one year. He has experience in Computer Science Engineering and programming. He has helped students as a programming mentor.

Gary Koerzendorfer

Gary has worked with the team for five years. He has experience in Electrical Engineering, programming, and tech support, and he has been an FRC Mentor for ten years. He has helped students as a programming and electrical mentor.

John Gamble

John has worked with the team for four years. He has experience in Industrial Technology and Business Management. He has helped students learn to use tools properly and safely.

Phillip Brylowski

Phil has been a mentor for three years. He has experience in Computer Science, CAD, CNC machining, 3D Printing, and Design for Manufacturing. He has trained students in CAD and shop safety.

Karl Reid

Karl has worked with the team for two years. He has experience in Tool & Die making, Mechanical Engineering, Manager Manufacturing, Principle Manufacturing Engineering, and Manufacturing Consulting. He has helped with training team members in safe usage of machine tools, machining parts for robots, interfacing with the CCOC to have welding and machining done on robots, purchasing materials and supplies for the team, and training students in the assembly of the robot.
